Get Better Physiotherapy was established in 2012 by the founder Garima Bharti who observed a gap in the provision of Physiotherapy services. Patients were not being heard, were strapped to machines and physios were seeing 2-3 people at the same time dancing between cubicles! There was no emphasis on immediate pain relief by using hands on techniques like joint mobilizations and muscle tension release.
So Garima created a clinic where :
✅ Patients are heard to get a clear understanding of their injury while maintaining their privacy in a room not just a cubicle!
✅ Patients are given hands on therapy/manual therapy to give immediate pain relief.
✅ Patients are educated about how their daily activities were affecting their recovery.
✅ Patients are given a guided plan of action for long term results not short fixes
Garima has over 20 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist. She’s a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, an associate lecturer at University of Queensland and a Certified Reformer Pilates instructor.
Our Vision: To get our patients 100% PAIN FREE!
Our Mission: To educate our patients about the benefits of using manual therapy for immediate relief but also empower them by educating them about long term recovery.
Our values:
✅ Focus on customer service and guidance through the whole journey
✅ Clear and honest communication: regarding support needed
✅ Collaborative and holistic approach to treatment : involve other health professionals
✅ Have fun!

Mikaela Boycon
Admin superstar
I have a few years of admin experience and love the organisation side of things as well as meeting new people and putting a smile on customer’s faces.
I am a massive animal lover with 4 pets of my own and enjoy spending my days off taking them to the beach or park and binge watching Netflix on the couch. I am also a lover of the arts and try to dip my toe in the industry when I can.

Brendan Lee
Physiotherapist
Hi! I’m Brendan – a physiotherapist who graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelors degree. Working as a physiotherapist in the musculoskeletal sector has genuinely opened my interest and passion to help people get back to their 100% and be able to maintain it for the future. I believe that everyone has setbacks in their lives, but it’s our job to help get people recovering safer and faster – so they can get back to what they love doing most, whether it’s their job or hobbies. When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll often find me on the soccer field, jogging or hiking around Brisbane. Let’s take on your challenges and work together to get you back on track and happier.

care. She has experience across both hospital/community and private practices in New Zealand.
Having recently relocated to Brisbane from Auckland, New Zealand, with my family
(10-year-old and a 3-year-old), she works part-time so that she can transition into
a full-time role as her family settle into their new home and care routines. Niyati has a very warm and kind personality that comes across when you first meet her.
